I am new to this list and am seeking help with information which might be found on the baptismal records of 4 children born to William and Sarah WATTS in Biddulph. I am assuming that they will be C of E baptisms but not necessarily so. I want to know the occupation of their father and am hopeful that it will have been recorded. William and his family of 7 children came from Bollington in Cheshire and I don't know the reason for this move. He was a joiner and machinist and may have worked with/for William STONIER at the Hurst Mill in Biddulph. William WATTS second child, Martha Pierpoint WATTS, married William STONIER, son of William STONIER on 31 Jan 1826. I have only year dates for two of the children calculated from later marriage, death and census records. The children are Ann born in 1818, Sarah bap 21 May 1820, James born in 1822 and William Richardson bap 18 Jan 1824. This information I found on Family Search. I would be grateful for any help with this. Ruth
