Ruth, With respect, you may need to re-word your post. I find it very confusing. You say William, Sarah and seven children came from Cheshire, but then you give four baptisms in Biddulph between 1818-1824. Then you say his second child married in 1826. He'd be only two years old. Despite that, the only place likely to provide father's occupation is original PR's. And that will depend on it being recorded. Somebody local may know if they're available or you can check the Family Search catalogue and see if films can be ordered. Have you looked for William & Sarah in 1841 and 1851, if they were still alive?. Peter
