I can't see any parish for Creighton on the Hugh Wallis site for IGI batches. So you'll need to establish if it had a church. It may be part of Uttoxeter. What was the source of your data? Have you tried looking on Family Search? You might also try the Family Search library catalogue and search for Creighton as a place name. That will tell what they have in any format. Fiche or films could then be ordered. Other options could be to check Genuki or simply Google "Creighton Parish Records" Peter in Sydney ****************************** ATTENTION TO ALL:- When replying please remove the details that do not apply to your mail and change the SUBJECT LINE for best useage of ARCHIVED MATERIALS. ****************************** PLEASE keep your Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware software up to date. Hi ...thank you for your quick reply. George Walker was in the 1851 and 1861 census for UTTOXETER, STF, ENGLAND I have looked in Family Search as you have stated and not found a GEORGE WALKER at all. He may have been bp elsewhere or the church record may not be readable. He Possibly has a brother named James Walker. I can not find his bapt either. Lin, I don't know the area. But it looks pretty remote on Google maps. It also didn't show up in Parish Finder as C of E. Not sure about Parish Locator? Lots of alternatives for Stephen and anybody else looking for parishes. Peter
Yes Peter is only a small Village in a very rural area, near Stramshall which is a larger Village & definetly does have a Parish Church.
