I have a number of WebSites at www.spanglefish.com - they are entirely free to me, but the punters have to "pay" by seeing ads ;-) You could simply put up a list of names, just by themselves. Google will find the list, and so punters can, and then they can contact you for more info. Or perhaps give the dates of birth & death for each name. Personally, it would annoy the hell out of me.... I have a distant cousin who has done a lot of work on her branch. Some years ago I sent her a printout from my (antique) FHS program, done on my (antique) dot-matrix printer, giving all the information that I had on her branch. Her response was along the lines of, "If you would be prepared to improve the presentation, then I would be prepared to share with you the fruits of my research." Pah ! I'm not really THAT interested in her remote branch (I've got PLENTY of closer branches to research), so I haven't discussed genealogy with her since....
