Hi Janet Thank you very much indeed for your kind efforts on my behalf. Looking at what you have uncovered, things are starting to make a bit more sense: it may be that Sarah married 3 times in all - SKELTON-CHALLINGER-BUTTLER.  I shall put together what you and Peter have suggested, combine it with what I have already discovered, shake it up and see what falls out!  I feel an obsession coming on.... :-) Many, many thanks for kind assistance to a confused person!
