    3. Is anyone researching these families? In particular I am looking for their address say from the 1841 census. My erstwhile Great Grandfather, then 20 years old, together with his neighbour, each "nicked" a horse on Monday the 2nd August 1842 from the gentlemen quoted above. I am *trying* to tell myself they were nobbled and transported as a result of a youthful prank rather than an insidious crime The address of the owners of the horses would help in my efforts to put leaves on the timber of my tree. any and all comments gratefully received. from beautifully sunny Queensland

    3. Hi, http://www.historicaldirectories.org/hd/index.asp - the 1834 W White directory (page 731) shows a John Burgess at Caverswall and a John Heath at Cookshill, both being farmers. hth, Anne > Date: Tue, 7 Aug 2012 10:46:00 +1000 > From: norm.simcock@gmail.com > To: staffordshire@rootsweb.com > Subject: [STAFFORDSHIRE] Caverswall Parish John HEATH and John BURGESS c1842 > > Is anyone researching these families?
