This is a very good question posed by Lory .... I know that my grandfather came from England first and a year or so later his family joined him. I was a pattern with many emigrants that Dad came, got work and a place to live, and then Mum and the kids came when he was settled and could support them. Ruth In Canada Message 4 ......
