    1. [STAFFORDSHIRE] Help please: North Staffs Regiment 1937

    3. Can you help please? We are researching Maer, Chorlton and Blackbrook for our Diamond Jubilee book project. I have a copy of a Remembrance service held at St Peter's Church, Maer in 1937 It says that the 5th Battallion of the North Staffordshire Regiment joined the procession from the Church to the War Memorial singing "Onward Christian Soldiers". I am told this was a band with a lone bugler stationed in the woods above the memorial. Has anyone got any photographs which we could illustrate in our book showing their band/a bugler/drummer or perhaps tell me where to contact the regimental archive service please? Audrey
