I have found a marriage certificate in the deeds for my mums house. It is a copy done for solicitors and the purchase and sale of the property many years ago. It is between William Colclough aged 34 of Norton in the Moors and Gertrude Julia Thornton, nee Copestake, Widow, aged 48. This took place at Christ Church Cobridge in 1945. I cannot let you have the document as it may be needed in the future by solicitors but I don't mind scanning/copying it if anyone is following this couple or their families. Jan
The Copestake surname is spelt Copestick also.
