Marilyn, Thank you for your thoughts. That's exactly what I'm looking for, that one clue which will lead me to finding some journals, or pictures, or letters, and ultimately leading me to know better who my ancestors were. Just knowing the figures, the dates, the data, isn't enough for me. I want to know more about what they did day to day and what they experienced. The quest is on.
