    3. Hi Graham, I have looked at it and also submitted an error report. If FMP got snowed under with error reports of this page they might take notice. To assist with this might I remind anyone who has not following the thread that FMP have it indexed as William PAINTON b c 1877. Hope this helps, Christine -----Original Message----- From: Graham Pointon Sent: Friday, May 04, 2012 2:51 PM To: Staffordshire List Subject: [STAFFORDSHIRE] "PAINTON" (POINTON) and WHITE I recently asked the list if anyone could help with finding these names on the Find My Past sailings from UK in 1902-03. Several people were very helpful, but agreed with me that the page was illegible. I filed a report with fmp, and this is their answer, which is not very helpful. On my screen, and on others', the page appears like a sheet of hessian cloth rather than anything with writing. How can we persuade fmp of this? If you have reported an indexing error then we have now corrected the indexing problem. If you are still having problems viewing the image you should use some of the viewing tools at the top of the image, e.g. the magnifying glass, as that will allow you to zoom in on particular parts of the document, thereby making the text easier to read. We do appreciate the time you have taken to fill out the document fault report. Kind regards, Customer Services Team findmypast.co.uk
