Dawn If you go to Old Maps website at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html and search for meaford Choose say the 1879 map on the righthand side and if you traverse the map in a northwest direction slightly you will see the area near Stone called Darlaston. NB - If you use the IGI and find a record which says Parish of STONE be mindful that Stone parish was an awfully large one and came into the centre of Longton / Fenton towns.
