I am tearing my hair out trying to find something I have already found but now cannot!! I am looking for the marriage of Maria Baldwin and William Joseph Simmonite Johnson in 1870. In some census returns he goes by William, joseph or even William Joseph. They married in the Dec qtr 1870 in Staffordshire. I am convinced that within the last 2 days I have found a record stating their fathers names to be George. I know this to be true anyway but want to look at the record again but as luck would have it I can find nothing, not even the marriage. I know they lived in Horninglow but not where they married except Staffordshire. The record would have been on FMP or Family Search as I can see its format in my head. Problem is that the search engines only seem to pick up what they want. This can be born out when doing an obvious search with exact detail as it is written only for no results!!!!! Grrrrrrr Jan
