I have now received the marriage certificate for Joseph MAYER & Mary McGRATH who married on 24 July 1911 in St Joseph's RC Church Hall St. Burslem Wolstanton and have found it is not my Joseph Mayer. If anyone would like this certificate please let me know. Joseph was aged 20 in 1911, bachelor, living at 13 Edge St Burslem. He worked as a potters labourer and was the son of Samuel MAYER, Coal Hewer. Mary Ann MCGRATH was 19, spinster and lived at 4 Broad St Burselm. She worked as a potters sponger and was the daughter of John MCGRATH who was deceased in 1911. He had been an ironworks puddler. One of the wotnesses was Ellen MAYER Anne Peat
