Hello from New Zealand. I am actually in the UK at present and have no possible chance of accessing Ancestry. Recently on a visit to a relative, a CHATTERLEY, I was given some information that led to a Sampson CHATTERLEY who I have assumed was the one registered in Stone in 1902. I would love any information about his ancestry, even more so, if it led to any of the CHATTERLEY families that resided in the area round the Warwickshire/Worcestershire border where my wife's CHATTERLEY ancestors came from. However at this poing anything to help with the 'backward'' progression would be welcomed. Thanks Mike Kawerau 3127 NZ

Hello Again Thank you for people who helped me start on the CHATTERLEYs in Staffs. I'm back again. Family Search has an 1841 reference to William CHATTERLEY (b 1826 in Ashley Staffs) which I cannot find in Ancestry at my library. I cannot find him in 1851 either. Would like help with those please.
