    3. Barbara.... You might want to dig a little into the family living at 10 Cooke St. Longton at the time of the 1911 census. They have a child called George Bradbury of similar age to the one you are looking for and he has siblings called Stephen, Ann and Emma whose ages are not quite right but not far off. However all these children (and others) are listed as the children of William Bradbury (45) who was a widower. Seems enough matches to suggest a likely match which perhaps could be explained by William Bradbury being a close relative of Thomas Edward Bradbury. I'm trying to find George Thomas BRADBURY born 1901 in Longton, Stoke on Trent, son of Thomas Edward BRADBURY and his wife Emma nee CHEADLE. In 1901 they were at 14 Arthur Street, Edensor, Longton being: Thomas age 39, potters placer born Longton Emma age 42 born Longton John T C age 17 potter ?, born Longton Charles Edward age 15 potter ? born Longton Eliza Ann age 14 born Meir [Caverswall] Emma age 10 born Meir [Caverswall] Stephen age 9 born Longton William age 5 born Longton George Thomas age 2 months, born Longton. George Thomas married Annie Elizabeth SHARP in 1926 at St James, Longton she was my mother's half sister. These families didnt move far, so I would expect them to be in the Longton area somewhere, but I have tried every variation of names and surnames and widened the search to different areas with no success. The mother Emma may have died in 1907, any help much appreciated.
