From the Ancestry 1911 page "We now have the full 1911 Census, with all the scanned pages. Currently, the only pages that are searchable using the form on the left are the Summary Books. These provide an outline of the information, including the head of the household, how many people were living there and what kind of property it was. To use the complete census, you’ll need to select a specific collection, such as the England or Wales Census, from the list on the left. You can then use the ‘Browse this collection’ options on the right to view the records for a particular county and parish." As for the BMD the civil registration is there right up to 2005, though some of the quality of indexing/transcription from 1916 onwards is a bit off. Sorry Steve I meant the free BDM at Staffordshire & West Midlands.The one that Bill keeps updating Because they do a 5 year search that's why I was wanting to use that.
