I have a large number of relations including my father , grandparents and great grandparents whom I know to have been non-conformists. All were born in the Hanley/ Stoke/Newcastle area but I have not been able to find any of their baptisms. Can anyone please tell me if they are on-line anywhere, and maybe explain why they do not appear in the non-conformist records on Family Search? I would love to find these for my records. I might be wrong here but back in the day of me visiting local archives I think the records for the Wesleyan Chapel records are at Newcastle under Lyme Library (Archives) on microfilm. I may be wrong and my list of holdings is packed away somewhere. I shall look later./ The thing to remember here is that records do get lost, some destroyed and some simply are not on line. We tend to think everything is nowadays and the fact is they aren't.
