This only goes up to 1750 (though that's a recent extension of 20 years!) but there's a Thomas BOULD of Ipstones there, probate date 1734 which might mean the family were there a generation or two further back - and you might find later Wills for them at Lichfield too, if you enquire. If you're lucky, one of these Wills might name your Matthew and tell you his parentage.
