    3. My Stackpoles are from the Kildare/Dublin area of Ireland. My great-grandmother was Julia Stackpole, b. c1848, daughter of Thomas Stackpole and Margaret Garry (McGarry). Thomas, b. 16 Aug 1816, was the first of 9 children of Francis Stackpole and Judith/Julia Kelly. Thomas and Margaret were m. 19 Jan 1846, Maynooth, Kildare. Thomas died 30 Dec 1895 in Celbridge, Kildare. I have not found a death record for Margaret. Francis Stackpole, b. 21 Mar 1781, Dublin, was the son of Thomas Stackpole and Brigid Lyng. They were married 6 April 1775, Dublin. This is as far back as I have been able to go. Francis and Judith/Julia m. 21 July 1814. Children were: Thomas 1816, Catherine 1818, Elinor 1820, Mary 1823, Patrick 1825, Elizabeth 1829, Margaret 1831, Judith/Julia 1833, and Anne 1834. Catherine m. James Smyth, 11 July 1842 Mary m. Patrick Heffernan, 21 Nov 1844 Judith/Julia m. Thomas Hoey, 13 July 1863 I would love to make contact with anyone associated with this family.
