Dear Jane I am not sure whether this is any help, but the book you mention is in the British Library (_www.bl.uk_ (http://www.bl.uk) ) in London. I believe I saw it when I visited the India Office section of the Library a few years ago in search of my MARZETTI ancestors. The India Office has the registers of births, marriages and deaths for India, but unfortunately not Ceylon, and the book of tombstones was all they had. They did suggest that the London Guildhall Library might have more information about Ceylon, but I am afraid I have not followed this up yet. Good luck with your search. Lindsay
