Hi! Can anybody tell me if 'The observer' has kept archives back to the 1850's, and if so, how they can be researched? Or any other newspaper of that time in Ceylon? I am looking for a marriage Mathew Henry Thomas / Marianne Theresa Skinner around 1864, probably in Colombo, which should have been mentioned in the local 'gazette'. Any help would be welcome! Jean.
