By the way, does Mr Hugh know Uncle Dick? (He was Aurthur Richard Ephraums, hence, Dick to family). I would love to chat with someone who knew him from his time on the island. He also had a brother, Roderik. They were blind piano tuners and had an island-wide business before he immigrated. And yes, the family did own hotels on the island, inherited from Dick's parents.
