    3. To all Listers who have offered advice and help, WOW, there are so many ways of getting the information out there, the mind boggles. We will work through our lists "guiding light" Fazli to put indexes on the site that has the DBU indexes on it ,and are leaning toward a suggestion from Gay for the Primary BMD list. Jean, and others, the records are on 35mm film, and can only be viewed at a Church of the Latterday Saints (Mormon, or LDS for short) Family History Centre. As far as We are aware the films are not for sale. The Hague records are on fiche, but again not for sale. these are very important to transcribe as we believe they are the only copy, and are in very poor conditon. You orderand pay for the film, and wait for the LDS to ring you when the film comes in, it could be up to 2 months for some,or in the same week for others...you have use of the film for 3 weeks, and you can extend for a further 3 weeks if no one else has ordered the film. Our problem is that our Centre is only open for 2 hours a week, so to sift through and transcribe by hand hundreds of frames takes time. That is why we have only copied the name of both parties down for marriages, and printed out only the ones we know are close family or listers are interested in.Note, there are at least 6 de Kretser full Marriage Register entries. As we have not been keeping an eye out for the name there is probably entries in the Deaths and Communion rolls as well. Our idea is to put transcriptions we have on the net, and then when another lister gets the film and gets their information it will be added to the list for all to see, as a verified, primary source. Jean, we will add your names to our watch list now, thank you all for your help, we always had faith we would get there eventually Cheers from a wet, and warm Babinda. C&L
