Hello, I'm trying to find a marriage for William Jefferies (Jeffreys) & Mary O'Brien and a birth for their first daughter Mary. William was English, Mary was born in Limerick Ireland, daughter Mary born Point de Galle, Ceylon about 1846/7. They had returned to England by 1849. Does anyone have them in their tree? Any ideas what would have taken them to Ceylon for only a few years?
