The gOOd news is that somewhere there are records of baptisms and marriages at out stations,1707 to 1912 onwards.The definition of outstations lists Jaffna, Trinco, Mannar, Mullaitivu, Galle and Matara districts, 3 volumes. The only trouble is there are no film numbers to guide you. There are also applications for marriage and baptism permits at districts other than Colombo, 2 volumes, and 5 volumes of School visitations. These are of children baptised and adult church members in the district. Film 1495574 that we have been looking at supposedly has some outstation records as item 16. We have not got that far yet !! maybe next Tuesday Heres Hoping !! Coreen&Larry
