    3. Hi Jeff: My email address is still correct. I'm still researching and looking for information on Jesse Sprouse, born 1800-1805 SC, died 7 Nov 1890 Spartanburg Co., SC. Married Rachel (Hill?). His mother, Mary Sprouse was living with him in the 1850 Spartanburg Co. Census, she was born 1775 SC, died between 1850 & 1860 Spartanburg Co., SC. I have lots of information on Jesse's children and some on his brothers. Does anyone know who Jesse's father was?? I've been stuck on this brick wall for 30 years. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mary L. I’m writing to ask each of you for your help and especially your input. First, I want to update as many of your emails that I can, the researcher list on the Sprouse web page has become outdated. I have personally lost touch with many of you and wanted to correct that. You can check the list and see if your address is correct, if not please let me know and I’ll change it. The researcher page http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~sprouse/S%20Res.HTM Secondly, we need your help with an on going project of collecting and documenting early Sprouse information Before 1850 on all variations of the Sprouse surname and all areas of colonial United States. Some variations include Prout, Prouse, Sprous, Sproul, Sproule, Sprowl, Sprowles, Spruce, Spruse, Spross, Sprosse, Sprout, and Sprouses. With the help of many of you over the years I have a timeline of information on the Sprouse Web Site and can be seen here: http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~sprouse/S%20TimeL.HTM Another joint effort has been done by Steve Stevens and can be seen on his web site. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~stevestevens/sprouse/Timeline/content/Sprouse%20Timeline2.html If you can help us add information please feel free to send it through the Sprouse list or emailing Steve at [email protected] All of you have been very generous with your information and help over the past 15 years. I hope that will continue with this project. Remember through out the years all information has been shared with you and will continue in this effort. I wanted to promise you, that as always information provided is for use by all researchers, and WILL NOT be used for profit. Thanks Jeff ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
