The self-published book contains short chapters on "Sprigg" and "Nuthall" and a larger chapter on "Crabb" and its variants (favorite-named ancestor: Haddock Crabbe ;) It appears that Thomas Sprigg Jr. / 1668-1726, is my 7th and my daughter's 8th great grandparent, thus making the Thomas Sprigg (subject of this thread) our 8th and 9th great grandparent, respectively.
