"Thomas Boxall" <melanie.boxall@sympatico.ca> Have you tried to contact any Sprigg/Sprigge lines via churches, genealogy societies, etc. in England?? Do try since they are quite active in UK.? Also, try FamilySeach.org?? There is a New Family Search that has lots of things that are not on the regular.? Get in and search a bit.? I haven't had time but was at a seminar yesterday where everyone was talking about it.? Joann Today's Topics: 1. Rev James Dewhurst SPRIGGE, of Suffolk (Thomas Boxall) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2007 13:47:31 -0400 From: "Thomas Boxall" <melanie.boxall@sympatico.ca> Subject: [SPRIGG] Rev James Dewhurst SPRIGGE, of Suffolk To: <SPRIGG@rootsweb.com> Message-ID: <00f501c78b4f$a2461e50$5667e2d1@TOMMIKEY> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" As far as I can ascertain, this gentleman was born in Brockley, Suffolk in 1789, but I have never been able to find his baptism, parents' names, or any clue that the Sprigges did indeed live in (or near) Brockley. Has anyone come across him, or any Sprigges in that area? I am at my wits end trying to find James' birth and family.
