As far as I can ascertain, this gentleman was born in Brockley, Suffolk in 1789, but I have never been able to find his baptism, parents' names, or any clue that the Sprigges did indeed live in (or near) Brockley. Has anyone come across him, or any Sprigges in that area? I am at my wits end trying to find James' birth and family. Many Thanks Thomas
