hello everyone thanks for the replies. when i work out how to write down the names i have in some sort of order, i am going to have to share it with you (sorry) pat sprigg.
Hello Pat. Actually your message was the first posted I think. I adopted this list a couple of months back but was waiting for more to sign on. There are 14 of us so far. I am from Thomas Sprigg of England> his son Thomas Sprigg of Northamptonshire, England to Northampton Co., VA, then Prince Georges, MD> his daughter Sarah Sprigg. Got some goodies for you all-- have started us a resource page at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cmddlton/sprgrsc1.html There is a link from that page to my family page. Contributions are welcome. I also take care of the GenConnect boards and you are welcome there too. Links are on my resource page. Please everyone, you are welcome at any time to post your family's info. All the best, Carol Middleton spriggo wrote: > > dear all > you will have to forgive me if i am being a pushy newcomer > but i would be obliged if some one would assure me that > i am not the only person on the sprigg mailing list. > thanking you for your tine. > pat sprigg. >
I guess it is always alot easier just being a wall flower listening in. But here it goes: I am looking for information on an Ursula Sprigg b-1743, who married Edward Crabb. I am looking for documentation that Ursula is Osborn Sprigg and Rachel Belt Sprigg's daughter. Can anyone help. Or at least give me some clues as to whoever Ursula's parents were. Kathy
dear all you will have to forgive me if i am being a pushy newcomer but i would be obliged if some one would assure me that i am not the only person on the sprigg mailing list. thanking you for your tine. pat sprigg.
Dear All. i have just subscribed to the Sprigg list, and would be obliged if anyone can supply any info for the Gloucestershire area, especially the Guiting's and Slaughter's area. my info has been gained mainly by local cencus's so i am assuming everyone has the same info but if i can help anyone then of course i will. thank you. pat sprigg. Is anyone researching SPRIGGS in Alabama, Mississippi or Arkansas? I am looking for Susan E. (may be Elizabeth) SPRIGGS and Mary Elizabeth (Dollie) SPRIGGS in the 1880 census. Susan E. STAGGS marr. Elijah SPRIGGS in Woodruff Co., Ark. in 1876. Elijah was in the Perry Co., Ark. census but I can not find his family. Bill STAGGS wstaggs189@aol.com
Hello, I am just beginning my search for my Sprigg ancestor. Here is the little I know about them. Mary Jane Sprigg married Alfred Cummins. She was the daughter of Colonel Frederick Sprigg of Scotland. I have no ideal where in Scotland the family resided. I would put their birth years in the 1700's as my grandfather that came to the states, was born in 1809 and these are his maternal grandmother's family. I could use some advice on the search for this family. Thank you for your time. Pat Spearman McAlester, OK 74501
