My gg grandfather was Seth Sprague, b. abt. 1794, place unknown. In 1818, Seth m. Margaret Clark in Fairfield County, Ohio. Seth d. in Dayton, Ohio about 1851. Other family members and I have searched for years for Seth’s place of birth and the names of his parents and there is a lot of family information on Ancestry but nothing beyond Seth. Our grandmother thought Seth may have been born in New York. There are a number of Seth Spragues but they do not appear to be our Seth. Siblings also are unknown.
