I have very little information. My grandfather, Ralph Leo Sprague, was very secretive about his childhood. He was apparently put in to an orphanage in Denver during the 1920's, but I can find no record. He was apparently born in Salida, but I can find no record. His parents names were apparently Benjamin Harrison Sprague & Martha Lour Gorman, I think I found something about this, but that's about it. Rumor is that my grandfather had something like a dozen siblings, but the only one who knew anything was my grandmother and she is no longer with us. Could there be a connection? Try searching on the Sprague database by Dick Weber. You should be able to google for his site.
