My grandfather was Ralph Leo Sprague born in Colorado around 1915. Word is that he had something like a dozen siblings, but they were placed in orphanages during the 20's. Not sure if this happened simply because his parents were poor or his mother passed away. My grandfathers application for SS indicates the following: Born in: Salida, CO in March 27,1913 Mother's name: Martha Lour Gorman Father's name: Benjamin Harrison Sprague I know I have a ton of family out there, I just can't find any record of my grandfather's birth, siblings, parents-NOTHING!
