He was born in South Charleston, Ohio to Frank and Esther Sprague. Lt. Commander Sprague was retired from the U.S. Navy, where he served during WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was preceded in death by his son, James Mark Sprague; a sister, Judy Salyers; and a grandson, Marc C. Molina. Survived by his wife, Phyllis Sprague of Ocean Springs; a brother, David Sprague of South Charleston, Ohio; his children, Kathleen Lincoln and her husband, John of Cornelius, NC, Pamela Mitchell and her husband, Bud, of Lumberton, MS, Kelly Sprague and his wife, Susan, of Slidell, LA, Sean Sprague and his wife, Dianne, of Phoenix, AZ, and Mary Sprague of Gulfport; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford- O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th St Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour before the service. Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery, Pass Christian with full military honors by the U.S. Navy.
