He is alledged to have married Jemima Sprague in New Jersey, bout 1837-9. Soon after, before the couple left for Canada, where they made their home in Halton Township, Ontario. These details were included in the obituary of my great-great grandmother in a newspaper in Vernon county, Missouri in 1939.
