He married, before 1930, to Mary Reilly, who was also born in New York. They had one known child, a son named Ralph, born in 1930, in New York. Ralph and Mary separated while their son was a small child, and Mary later married Frank Malloy. Frank raised the child Ralph as his own, and Ralph took the Malloy name. Not known if Frank actually adopted Ralph. Ralph (Sprague) Malloy married Frances Viola, and they still live in New York, but do not know anything about Ralph, who left the family.
