From a prominent Duxbury, Mass. shipbuilding dynasty, they built a fine Federal style house on Washington St. in Snug Harbor/Sprague's Neck area. They had no children, but adopted his nephew Seth Loring Sprague. The only grandchild, another Seth, was born in 1851 and unmarried as of 1915. Any information, esp. letters, diaries, etc., pertaining to the Spragues life in Duxbury would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
