Julie, Lt. Ralph SPRAGUE is my husband's direct family line. I have him going back to Tristram SPRAGUE (1550-1630) whose father was Enos SPRAGUE b abt 1525 Upway,Dorsetshire,England. I just got in on this and noticed their names. So I am sure I missed a lot and probably will need to be brought up to date. Please give me the dates on William Buell SPRAGUE birth, died, where buried who he married and etc. so that I can see if I have him in my files. One more mystery: we have a beautiful silver, antique, candelabra, that is "supposed" to have a connection with George Washington's wife, Martha. The fact that when Wm B, was a student at Yale, and he tutored Martha's sons, at her Woodlawn home, near Mt Vernon.....makes me wonder is this how our family obtained the candelabra???
