His name was Sheridan Eugene Sprague b.1872 d.1940 (not to be confused with the Sheridan Sprague, son of Marshall Sprague) His mother's name was Viola Klock- Backus and I'm pritty sure his fother's name was Eugene Sprague. As best I can tell they were not married. Looking at the 1850 Jefferson county, New York cenus records It lists a Eugene Sprague son of Lervi and Alzinia, But that Levi was born in Mass. Jonathan and William are the only Spragues shown on the 1790 census of Randolph, VT. I think the record is in error and should have listed William Sprague as the father. Jesse Belle was born about 1871 in Kansas or Iowa. Sevious Truman Sprague was born in 1848. Sevious first married Mary Francies Oliver in Carbondale Kansas, then married Jesse Belle. He died in 1911 in Chandler OK, buried at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Lincoln Co. Jesse Belle and Sevious had 3 children, Truman, Orville and Ethel Florence.
