My gggrandfather was James Enoch Spiers from SC while living in Scott Co., MS and then in AR he was James Enoch Spires. His wife was Absela Spiar/Spiaars from NC. According to info that I have his father and grandfather were also named James Enoch Spiers/Spiars/Spires. Because of the different spellings of their names I have been unable to get further back on them.
