message #2 Correction... okay, I'm human (some question this) and I just made an error.... FORT DEFIANCE is the same location as the....OLD STONE CHURCH...not the old Augusta Stone Church were Wm.& Polly married. Location still the same...On US Rt. 11, about 5-8 miles outside of Stauton, VA heading North. Ft. Defiance is NOW the name of the small community around the Church. ( not too far away is the Augusta Stone Church) ....all this in Augusta Co., VA. (I'm still right about the Buffalo chips.) Sorry....... Jim James F.
