GA Cousins, I had a thought ! ( Watch out !) Some or all of you please go to the Augusta Co. VA genwebsite and link over to Chalkley's website on the early Pioneers of the Shenandoah Valley ( or something like that, I don't remember ) and see if you can find the article that listed the founding families of the Tinkling Springs Church. Jim, our Augusta Co. chairperson, is busy on another of his lines right now, and he has worked so hard getting us this far ! Let's give Jim a rest ! See if any of those families are also common surnames in GA, which may suggest a mass migration to GA from Augusta County VA. Has anyone checked Moses' Rev. War records ? Did he join in a VA regiment or was he already in GA before the War ? In other words, what do we have so far on him and his neighbors ? Later, Carolyn
