As I told you before, my great grandmother was Dora California Dalton, who married Ennis Lee Spence..The Dalton's were living side by side with the Spence's in Carroll County. Maybe some Spences or a Spence moved to the Coffeyville area along with James Lewis Dalton..he was born in Logan County Ky. His father, whose name I don't yet have, came from Carroll County, VA, and whose ancestors came from Ireland and originally France. (The original name was D'Alton).
