WE ARE PROBABLY LOOKING FOR YOUR BRANCH........ My name is Carolyn Spence and I'm in Trinity, NC but we sprang from the Carroll County VA branch. Jim Carver, I got your maps in the mail yesterday. Thank you so much. One of them had the Rivers where one of our John Spence' s was living, so I got a good idea where he resided. I found out that Bedford and Franklin Co. both have Pioneer settlement maps and I sent off a check for Bedford's today. Those should be interesting. I have NC maps and they are great. It's nice to look at a map of 1760 and see your ancestor's little dot that represents his house ! I've been studying my books all day and will have a few things to report tomorrow. let's hear from the new members. Jump on in, we are informal here.
