Hi Folks...me again. As for the locations I'm seeking involving James Spence's Rev. War military activity. I've discovered that most were in NY. The only ones in question now are: * Smiths Clove & * Camp Middlecreek This James Spence was involved in several serious battles there in NY...currently being researched now. It appears his final days were at Valley Forge during the nasty Winter Encampment...naturally we know he survived it. His records indicate several "terms" , meaning enlistment times...mostly for 1 month periods, but was drafted for the battles ...and one mention for the duration of the War....slightly confusing but now knowing where he was and what he was involved in I'd say he had little choice.
