Hi Listers I have some Speaks round Sowerby, Yorkshire. John Speak married Hannah Broadbent and had Betty in 1779 and Sarah in 1786 (John later married another Hannah and had a second family too) Sarah didn't marry but had William in 1809, John in 1816 and Hannah in 1821. This John married Mary (Molly) Pickles nee Siddle. They had William (1843), Sarah (1845), Samuel (1849), Elizabeth (1852) and Eliza (1854). It's from this Samuel that my ex husbands line descended.
