    3. Can anyone tell me if they know off any Speaks that had Cherokee Indian in them.All my Aunts and Uncles told us we had Cherokee Indian in us.I have never been able to fine anything. Thank you Gail

    3. I can not say how many times I have heard that even in our own family and I can say that majority of the time it has no truth to it. Good luck, happy trails. I'd go on to other research.     3. Hi Gail nice to know you are still doing research. I don't know of any but that doesn't mean anything. People didn't always want people to know if there was. My husband family married into a family that had Indian by marriage way back in the family history.     3. Hi Terry, It has been a long time.Yes I am still researching my Speaks.My mom told me her dad would tell her about her mom my grandma Hilda Speaks she died when my mom was young. He would tell her about the Cherokee in them. I am not sure it could be from the McGee's or the Coulter's side of the family. My 2x ggrandmother was Missouri olive Coulter I thought maybe it could be her.But not sure.
