My goal is to find what line mine connects to I have Samuel Speaks b. 1760-1770 Charles County, Maryland. I have never been able to find out who his father was. I have Glenn Peddicord who is helping some of the Speakes to get digital copy's of will's and other documents. Some of the old film's you could hardly read but the digital copy's are clear as a bell. I gave him $100 to help buy copy's if we all pitch in maybe we could get copies of all the Speak/e/s records in Maryland. He lives about 45 minutes from the archives. Let's get some discussions going! What lines/families are you all working on and what is your major genealogical goal for 2005? Which ancestor or information do you most hope to find this year? (I would like to see some good exchanges of information between all of the list members, especially anyone who has never posted or that are new to the list. Please keep on the topic of the respective lists, as I am posting this to all the lists I manage.) I look forward to seeing your responses! - Allison Goettee (Goethe) Newton http://genealogy.southeastusa.net ______________________________
