Hi Bobbi, Unfortunately I am a female Speaks descendant so I'm no help to the DNA project. But I would like to know more about Col Thomas Speake. My earliest Speaks ancestor is John Speake who married Elizabeth Wade. I don't get the Speak(e)s Family Association Bulletin, so any help to see if my line (might link up with Col Thomas Speake would be very interesting. My DAR ancestor is Hezekiah Speake b. 1757 and died in 1837 in Bourbon Co. Ky. who married Eleanor P. Tucker. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Lynda Combs Gipson
